Tracy R. Porter Board Bio

Tracy R. Porter, CEO, Entrepreneur, and Board Director, is a fervent advocate for diverse governance. He is currently founder and CEO of Premiere Solutions fleet management company, chairman of the NFL Alumni Association, and charter member of the NCAA Independent Resolution Panel. Tracy brings vast experience and proven results in enterprise leadership, strategic leadership, business operations and marketing segmentation strategies through his career leading teams at fortune 100 companies and as the owner of thriving auto dealerships. Tracy is committed to meaningful board service and upholding a legacy of social justice as founder of the Blacks on Boards Committee within the Boulé (Sigma Pi Phi fraternity).

Throughout his career, Tracy has held many titles: founder and CEO, director of sales departments, director of marketing, active board director, committee leader, and more. He demonstrates exceptional leadership skills by consistently driving growth, creating collaborative cultures, and opening doors for others to reach their full potential. 

Tracy began his career at Louisiana State University, where his athletic skills on the football team propelled him into a five-year career in the NFL (National Football League). Tracy used his time during the NFL off-seasons to establish a private sector business career, then went on to direct sales and teams with the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies for 14 years. Transitioning into marketing, Tracy led teams at J&J in audience segmentation strategies that helped the company increase sales to specific markets. Tracy In 2003 he decided to pursue a new venture, taking his marketing and leadership skills into entrepreneurship as owner of a lucrative Mercedes-Benz franchise. From there, he has spearheaded multiple successful entrepreneurial ventures in the automotive industry and is currently the Founder and CEO of Premiere Solutions, Inc.

Tracy’s passions and drive transcend the workplace. He is the founding Chairman for the Epsilon Beta Boulé Foundation, organized to develop and provide educational programs, scholarships, and opportunities for at-risk kids living in the San Francisco Bay area. He is a business mentor for disabled veterans as part of the AT&T Global Supplier Diversity Initiative. Tracy served on the Board of Trustees of the University of San Francisco as the Co-Chair of the Audit Committee, a $500M nonprofit entity, and on the Diversity Board at LSU until August 2019, when he was appointed to the NCAA Independent Resolution Panel. Tracy also serves on the Executive Committee with the Boule (Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity), where he chairs the Blacks on Corporate Boards Committee. In May 2019, he was elected by his NFL peers as Chairman of the Board of the NFL Alumni Association, representing 22,000 former players. 

Tracy is uniquely skilled at developing long-term relationships to leverage emerging business and philanthropic opportunities, and is dedicated to upholding a legacy of social justice by increasing Black representation on boards. He lives with his wife, Terri, in Danville, California and has two adult daughters.
